The University of Algarve, based at Campus da Penha, 8005 139, Faro, Portugal, telephone +351289800100, is making available the learning platform “MILAGE LEARN+” within the scope of the MILAGE projects (MathematIcs bLended Augmented GamE), LEARN+ Project reference: 2019-1-PT01-KA201-061246 and INCOLLAB Project reference: 2019-1-CZ01-KA203-061163, from the ERASMUS+ program funded by the European Union.
The main objective of the platform is to provide materials for the teaching of all subjects organized by years of schooling, from pre-school and from 1st to 12th grade, which can be used in or outside the classroom, and which introduces a pedagogical model based on gamification and a self-assessment and peer assessment scheme that enhances the implementation of innovative pedagogical practices that motivate, promote autonomous work and active learning by students. This platform is available through support of mobile devices (Android and iOS) and Windows and Mac computers.
The personal data provided for processing within the scope of the MILAGE LEARN+ Platform are: name, email address, and the category of holders to collect the data will be “all those interested in registering as a student, and teacher on the MILAGE LEARN+ platform”. All data is collected only for the purposes of registration and account creation on the MILAGE LEARN+ platform, the confidentiality of its treatment and exclusive use by the University of Algarve being guaranteed, with a retention period "as long as the student's account is not deleted" , and its treatment is carried out under the terms and conditions of the Data Protection Policy that is accessible at https://www.ualg.pt/sites/default/files/documentos/2020-12/politicadeprivacidadeuniversidadedoalgarve2018.pdf.
